How is my rental period calculated?
Rental periods are calculated on a DAILY basis not HOURLY or NIGHTLY; e.g. an item delivered Monday and picked up Wednesday equals 3 days.
How do I place an order?
Reservation requests can be made on our website at www.mountaintot.com/reservations. You may also book by phone at (970) 368-4447 Option 1.
Do you accept orders over the phone?
Sure thing! While we prefer to book order online because we are out during the day delivering equipment, we do accept phone orders by calling (970) 368-4447 Option 1.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
To ensure availability, we suggest that you place your order once your travel plans (lodging, airfare) are paid. We understand that sometimes plans cannot be made until the last minute, so we will do our best to accommodate your schedule and needs. Online orders may only be placed 48 hours (or more) prior to the delivery date. If equipment is required under 48 hours, please call us at (970) 368-4447 Option 1 to ensure availability and placement in the delivery schedule.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Credit card orders will be processed immediately for the full amount of the order. In the event that you need to cancel your order, please refer to our cancellation policy. Changes or cancellations may be made to you order up to 48 hours prior to arrival via e-mail or phone.
I placed my reservation request, now what?
If we have questions, we will contact you via e-mail to confirm the details and obtain any additional information needed. You may reach us if you have questions or need to make changes at info@mountaintot.com or (970) 368-4447 Option 1.
I need a piece of equipment, but I don’t see it on the list?
E-mail us at info@mountaintot.com and we will try to accommodate your request. We may have the item in our inventory or we may be able to obtain it through a local distributer. We will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Delivery/Pickup

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Colorado’s Summit County including the resorts and towns of Breckenridge, Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Blue River, and Vail.
What are your hours and prices for delivery and pickup?
We strive to accommodate your travel needs and offer delivery and pickup 7 days a week. We deliver and pickup between 9am-5pm. For all orders, a one-time delivery/pickup fee of $35 is added including set up if requested.
What if I need to make a change to my delivery or pickup date/time?
We understand that that plans may change and strive to accommodate those changes. If you want to make a change to delivery or pickup please e-mail us at info@mountaintot.com or call us at (970) 368-4447 Option 1. Same day changes may result in additional delivery charges.
May I pick up my items?
No.  We are a delivery-based service only.
What if I am staying at a hotel or resort property?
Please provide as many of the details of the property management staff at the time of your reservation, we may be able to drop your equipment at your property prior to arrival. If this is not possible, we will arrange to meet you at a pre-coordinated time. Pickup will be arranged in the same manner. Please don’t leave items outside for pickup unless it is previously coordinated.
What if I am late for a pre-coordinated pickup time?
If you are requesting a special pickup time, you must be present for the pickup. If you are not present within 15 minutes, you will be charged another rental day for all items and MountainTot will coordinate another pickup date/time. We coordinate a tight delivery schedule to meet all our customer’s needs and often are all over Summit County every day.
What if I need things delivered to a gated residence?
For homes located in a gated community, please provide us with a gate code or notify the front gate of your expected delivery.  If we are unable to gain access to your property for delivery or pickup, you will incur a redelivery fee of $17.50.
Will I receive the exact item shown?
MountainTot Gear carries only top quality products for rent from highly respected manufacturers, including Fischer Price, Kelty, Graco and more. Unless the manufacturer and/or model is specified, you will receive an item of like, kind and quality of the item pictured (colors and patterns may vary). 
Is the baby equipment safe?
Safety is our number one concern. MountainTot Gear seeks out Juvenile Product Manufacturer Association (JPMA) certified products. We continually monitor the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to ensure that items are not subject to recall. All of our equipment is either new or is in gently used condition. We maintain our equipment and rotate new items into the inventory as equipment becomes overly used. Clean and serviceable equipment will always be provided.
Is everything cleaned and sanitized?
Yes, we clean all items and sanitize after each pick up and before drop off. Our equipment is stored in clean and dry environment.
In what condition should the rental items be returned?
It is our expectation that the products will have normal wear and tear for the amount of time renting the product. However, excessive wear and/or tear will subject the renter to additional costs up to the replacement value or purchase value of the product. In cases where the product is damaged beyond repair, the full replacement value of the product will be charged to the account of the renter and will be invoiced to the renter upon completion of the lease agreement. A $25 charge will be assessed for each item returned excessively dirty.
